Editing documents in the Editor

RedactManager automatically identifies, classifies, and redacts sensitive information in documents. The redaction tool finds confidential and sensitive data and information and redacts it.

Users can review and edit the automatically generated redactions. Colored markings support this process.

Good to know:

To manually edit and redact documents means: Automatically generated redactions are reviewed and confirmed, and further redactions are suggested or added.

All this takes place in the Editor. However, it is not possible to change the content of the documents in RedactManager. You can remove automatically generated redactions or add further redactions to address special cases.

Edits follow a 2-level authorization concept. The reviewer suggests changes (e.g. further redactions or new dictionary entries). The suggestions are then approved or rejected by the Approver and/or the Dossier Owner.

How to get there:

Dossier Overview > Select dossier > Select document > Document opens in the Editor

In this chapter, you will learn how to edit automatically generated redactions in documents and how to suggest, add and approve redactions and dictionary entries.
