Basic workflow

The basic workflow for redacting documents is described below. It helps you to get started with RedactManager.

Basic workflow

  1. Manual/Automated upload: Upload the documents you want to process into a dossier.

    Automatic document analysis and annotation: RedactManager automatically analyzes uploaded documents, redacts, and anonymizes sensitive information. It relies on individually stored rule sets, dictionaries, and machine learning. OCR ensures automatic text recognition.

  2. Manual changes (optional): Check the automatically generated results in the Editor and make manual changes where necessary: You can remove redactions, add further redactions, accept recommendations, etc. Approve the document once the review has been completed.

  3. Export of redacted documents and templated reports: Download the final, redacted version of approved documents. If all dossier documents have been approved, the entire dossier can be downloaded. RedactManager also generates the required redaction reports. The reports list all redactions and provide for compliance transparency.
