Auto-expand workload filter
Fixed issues:
Previously hidden image re-appears unintentionally
File attributes were not rendered correctly in the Excel report
Help Mode contained a few broken links to the user and admin manual.
Issue when generating more than one multi-file Excel report for a download package
Issue with the status of the download package if a document contains a vast amount of markings that were converted into redactions
Improvements:
Amount of false positives in case of automatic phone number redaction was reduced
Amount of false positives in case of signature detection was reduced
"My Dossiers" quick filter was renamed into "Dossier Owner" and "Dossier Member" was added to filter for Dossiers where the user is either Owner, Approver, or Reviewer
Renamed quick filter
Icon for showing and hiding tooltips on annotations was replaced.
Deleted users are grayed out in the dossier. That allows the Dossier Owner to remove them from a dossier. A dossier can contain deleted users if the users are synchronized with an external system (LDAP). When users are deleted manually in the user management, they are removed from dossiers automatically. In a future version, synchronized users that were removed from the external system will be automatically deleted from RedactManager.

Fixed issues:
Issue with redirection to login screen when session expires
Issue with comparison view
Title of earmark conversion dialog
General
Digital signatures are now removed automatically when uploading documents. That avoids signature errors in the final file (as editing in RedactManager would invalidate the signature).
With the respective license you can now also upload Office formats (.docx, .xlsx, .pptx) to RedactManager.
If you re-upload a file to a dossier – e.g., as part of a bulk upload – you can specify whether to overwrite the manually implemented changes.

RedactManager now supports correct redaction of PDF fonts that use ligature glyphs to represent two connected characters.
Home
Home is RedactManager's new top user interface level. It lists the dossier templates and provides statistics on the dossiers linked to them.

Home
Clicking on one of the dossier templates will take you to the respective Dossier Overview, including the linked dossiers. In the Dossier Overview, you can switch between the dossier templates via the drop-down menu in the upper left corner.

Dossier Overview
The admin can now create multiple watermarks for each dossier template. If multiple watermarks have been defined, you can choose the watermark you want to apply to your dossier from a drop-down once you have enabled the watermark option.

Managers can no longer create dossier states. Only users with the Admin role can do that.
The dossier state of a dossier continues to be changed or set by the Dossier Owner.

When uploading files, you can now filter processed and processing files by clicking on the progress bar of the respective category in the Dashboard.

Editor
We have managed to improve the loading speed of files significantly.
When opening a document, RedactManager used to load the annotations on all pages (including thousands of annotations you would not review immediately). That sometimes caused the application to be unresponsive.
RedactManager now reloads the content dynamically (on demand and pagewise). The markings and annotations of a page will be loaded once you visit it. (That also applies to the panel view, for example.)
In case of larger files that still take longer to load, the new loading time indicator shows the remaining loading time.

Progress bar
If you resize a redaction, you can now decide to add the new value to the dictionary (if the redaction is dictionary-based).
Check the respective box in the Resize dialog.

Add new value to the dictionary
If the new value is longer than the old one, a further entry will be added to the dictionary. If the new value is shorter, the old value will be overwritten (because it obviously was wrong).
For further information, please see Editing options in the Editor.Reviewing and editing annotations
In case of image-based hints, the Remove only here feature has no effect and therefore has been removed. Remove only here is only available for image redactions.
The Highlights view is now called the Earmarks view. For further information, please see Earmarks view.Editor: user interface and navigation
The rectangle redaction mode remains enabled again when you change pages and then return to the page. (That was temporarily not the case in version 3.3.)
For further information, please see Rectangle redaction.Manual redactions and dictionary entries
You can also bulk select annotations across several pages again. (That was temporarily not the case in version 3.3.)
For further information, please see Workload in the Editor.Editor: user interface and navigation
Good to know:
Features marked with an asterisk were developed for version 3.4. However, they were completed earlier and thus already incorporated into version 3.3.6.
If you have already worked with the previous RedactManager version, you may already be familiar with them.
General
In the System Preferences section, you can now specify the retention time for deleted documents in Trash, download packages that have already been downloaded and download packages that have not yet been downloaded.
